No, they cannot. Only teachers and students can access the classroom; this is so that strangers cannot log in. Your parents can ask the teacher face-to-face what is happening in Google Classroom, however.

No. Yahoo is a different site. You should not use your personal email for Google classroom, the school should distribute one to you automatically. If they do not, you can simply ask for them to help set one up.

How can I use last year's class codes, which has all of my handouts were downloaded, so I can find them with the new codes?

It would be easier to create a new class. Click on the class and project the classroom code and have them sign up. Then when you make an assignment use the reuse option and look for the assignment with the handouts you want them to use. You can then update the date due, points, etc.

You need a Type Account to join Google Classroom. If they don't have one, ask them to create one. Otherwise they will have to use another student's account, which isn't a good option.
