  • Question
How do I tie the string?
    KendlesArt
    Community Answer
Make a loop at one end and bring the other string inside the loop and pull to secure. This only works on certain projects.
  • Question
I really don't understand how to make it, can anyone help me?

Click on the link in the "Sources and Citations" section at the end of the article. There is a good photo panel on that page showing what each step looks like. The ribbon is folded in an x-pattern going up and then down; an accordion strip of ribbon is formed. One of the ribbon ends is pulled tight and results in the other part of the accordion coming together to form the rose.

This article describes the fastest method. Go to link #2 in the Sources and Citations section at the end of the article. There is a photo panel on that page that shows all the steps together, and this may be easier to follow.
  • Question
Can I attach the rose to an elastic headband. If so, how can I do that?

Yes, these ribbon roses could be added to an elastic headband. You could attach them by gluing in place or stitching onto the headband, whichever approach is easiest for you. Work out a pattern before attaching them, just by lining them up or forming them into shapes and then choosing what you like best (such as making a row of the roses spaced evenly, or making circles of roses here and there).
  • Question
When I try this, the ribbon pulls itself out of the center and undoes itself. How do I prevent this?
    T. Chinsen
    Top Answerer
Add a dab of glue at the start or secure it with a few stitches. This will stop the rose from unraveling when pulled.
