Do you have to brake while rev matching, or can you rev match without brake?

Yes you can do it without braking, no matter why you're going down a gear, blip the throttle. If you're coming to a stop or slowing down, always use at least a little brake just so people behind see your brake light so they know what you are doing.

No, not really. Rev matching is a performance riding technique, so you don't have to do it on any bike. It's tricky to do rev matching on a dirt bike as they are single cylinder, and the power doesn't come on and off gently.

No, but you'll get engine braking, which is when the bike is trying to go faster than the selected gear will allow. It's likely to throw you forward a bit depending on the speed and the gear, so if you drop into a particularly low gear at a high speed it can be quite dangerous.

Not really, bikes and any vehicles with a manual transmission are built to take a bit of a beating from shifting. However, just like redlining a car engine for too long, it can cause damage over time if you don't try fixing your technique. The biggest thing is that if you can't rev-match, just engine brake. It may cause you to lurch forward, but is very safe on the bike and equipment.

Yes, you can. When just using your brake, pull your clutch in all the way and hold it in, that will place you in neutral until you let the clutch back out. While in neutral, alternate between the front and rear brake or pull on your front brake and step on your rear brake evenly at the same time.

The NS 20P does not have a wet clutch/slipper clutch A wet/slipper clutch is not required for a smaller capacity road bike like NS200.
