QuestionCan amaryllis be replanted after they bloom?Community AnswerYes.

QuestionHow do you grow amaryllis from seed?Fergus ScottCommunity AnswerPlant the seeds about 1 inch (2.5cm) deep in a regular soil. Keep them moist and in partial shade until they begin to sprout. Once they have sprouted and they look like grass, transfer them to a large pot and treat them like normal amaryllis. You will likely have to wait a few years for them to fully grow, however!

QuestionCan I get an amaryllis to reflower at a certain time?Fergus ScottCommunity AnswerThis will entirely depend on when you plant them. The time from planting to flowering is generally around 7-10 weeks but I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to make it any more specific than that!

QuestionCan I plant amarylis bulbs in the ground at any time?Fergus ScottCommunity AnswerIt depends on where you are planting them! If you are planting them outside, then you will want to wait until the end of spring when any potentially cold weather (near freezing) has passed. If you're growing inside then you can grow them at any time of year provided they have the right temperature and light conditions (as much light as possible and around 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit)

QuestionShould the bulb be completely covered with dirt or exposed?Community AnswerThe bulb should be one third above the soil level as in the pictures above.
