You eat cells every day, as fruits and vegetables all contain cells and so is meat. In agar.io; however, you have to be a seeable bigger size than the opponent and get close enough to consume. If the opponent is smaller than half your size, it may be enough to get close to the opponent and press space to split consuming the opponent. However you will be two cells for a while whether you do it right or wrong.

Press W to get rid of some of your mass and shoot in the direction of a large cell. When the spiky cell has reached maximum growth, it will split in the direction of the big cell, making the big cell split.

Just wait for a few seconds, your sections will naturally join back together on their own. While waiting to join back together, find a safe place to wait, and avoid larger players, as you’re going to be be more vulnerable.

If you'd like to split into two (or more, if you do it multiple times) balls, press the space bar. If you are too small, however, nothing will happen.

The virus, or "spike", is not like the cells. You cannot eat one. Smaller cells can hide in them, whilst bigger cells will explode when they touch the virus.

Too get from small to big, you have to eat the tiny dots and the other players who are smaller.

There is, in fact, a limit to your growth. The maximum number of cells you can have is 16, and the maximum amount of mass per cell you can have is 22,500 (When a cell reaches over 22,500 mass they automatically split). Using the formula 22,500 x 16, the maximum amount of mass per player is 360,000. If a player consumes more mass than the maximum amount, the mass will vanish. The mass of 360,000 cannot cover the entire map, but comes close.

That doesn't seem to be an in-game problem, as those are the actual controls. See if space and the "W" key work outside of Agar.io. If not, consider having a check up on your computer. If they do work outside of Agar.io, you might want to consult a trusted family advisor or member with expertise in computers. Some computers have the function to take off part of the computer to turn it into a mobile device. Games are often fooled that the player is on mobile when they are playing on computer. Since mobile doesn't have keys, video games don't usually consider adding those controls if they know you're on mobile. You may want to check this out if you have one of those computers.

You need a minimum of 132 mass to split on a virus, though some bigger viruses have a slightly higher limit. You can check your mass by looking in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Give them a piece of food and if they give it back they probably want to be your friend. I would recommend not giving them enough food or giving them too many of your split cells until you both have a little trust.

If you in a safe place you and large enough split into 16 pieces, go to a wall or corner to centralize your mass into one cell. Take that cell over a virus. If you are 16 pieces and main cell is large enough you’ll be able to eat the virus.
