Why won't my sound come out of the sound bar even though the remote makes the volume dots on the sound board go up?

Make sure the input from the TV matches the input to the sound bar. For example, my sound bar has three inputs. If the TV is on #3 and my sound bar is on #2, everything appears to work, but I won't hear any sound. If both are correct, try a new cable.
