I can not do a reset on my iPod. Is there another way to do a hard reset?

If resetting on a computer is not possible, you can try downloading a tracking app if the iPod is able to be turned on and connected to an internet source. Open the app, select the iPod and click "Wipe," which will then do a hard reset.
