You pay a fee per item when you sell it based on price and type of item it is or you can get a subscription if you are a large scale seller and plan to list a lot of stuff and you pay a flat fee (plus commissions). You essentially pay them a dollar plus their commission, which is usually between 8-15%. It is different for different kinds of items. There is no charge for listing most things, you pay when you sell. If you are only talking a few things here and there, eBay is usually your best bet and you get your money sooner, but if you are talking a business, then Amazon may be better. eBay costs less but more people shop on Amazon.

It goes into this digital form of an account inside your Amazon Seller account. Every other week on Saturday, you'll get a message saying that they are transferring it (via direct deposit) to your bank account you supplied them with when you signed up for a seller account. You may at any time pull the money out for an early take-out. However, you are still liable for those products you sold that must still be shipped on the right day, regardless of the money you took to deposit to your account.
