It is best if you know the x-coordinate and z-coordinate, then guess the y-coordinate. If you know it is the same biome as your current one, check your current y-coordinate, then estimate the y-coordinate to teleport to. Go +10 your current one to be safe, and usually above 60 will be safe. Beware teleporting into lava, underwater, or into solid blocks. If you don't know the x- or z-coordinates, then you'll have to guess. Again, check your current coordinates to get a rough estimate.
