You can't technically hack or win in Tanki. The main objective is just to have fun and compete! Plus, if you hack Tanki, there's always a very high chance that a moderator will ban you quickly. The main objective is to reach a Generalissimo rank. CTF battles require you to capture the most flags possible. DM matches and TDM matches are to kill as many other tanks as possible, just TDM is teams and DM is free-for-all. Finally, in CP, you are supposed to capture points and protect them to get points. Whatever team gets the most points wins. In all of them, there is a certain objective; if you meet the criteria, you also win the match.

This can occur when the address that you have found is not the same as the address that the application recognizes. For example, you may have scanned for an address that you think is the current gold value, but the application recognizes that address as another variable. It could also be that the type of scan you're using (i.e. 4 bytes) is not suitable for that specific value, and you should try using a different type. Occasionally, the value might have changed when you were scanning for it. Try using speedhack to pause the application before scanning for values.
