Yes. Free mobile listeners can only shuffle, except for select playlists (like their release radar and daily mixes). Desktop users and paid mobile users are able to listen to things in order, but you can shuffle by clicking "Shuffle play," or clicking/tapping the currently-playing track to open artwork view and then clicking/tapping the shuffle icon (two arrows crossing over).

How do I stop the shuffle play process so the music plays in the sequence of the album?

If you have a laptop/computer, there will be two arrows crossing each other to the left of the play button at the the bottom of the screen. If it is green and there is a green dot underneath it, that means it's on. Click the symbol and it will turn it off. If you have a phone, you'll need to get Spotify Premium to let it play in order. If you have Premium and are on a phone, play a song. The song's name will pop up a the bottom of the screen, click it. A different screen will be showed, there you will see the two criss-cross arrows. Click on it and it will be turned off.

If you do not have Spotify Premium, you aren't able to turn off shuffle on your phone. However, you can turn shuffle off whenever you want on a laptop or computer. If you do have Spotify Premium, the button for turning shuffle on and off is the one that has two lines crossing over each other. You can know if it's turned on or not by checking to see if it has a dot underneath or if it's green. If it's not green and doesn't have a dot underneath, it's not turned on.
