A simple way to end an acknowledgement is by thanking people who have assisted you or caused you to achieve your goal. You could also thank a group of people instead of listing names to end your acknowledgment. The most crucial part of an acknowledgement is to mention everyone who has helped you, so thanking people you may have forgotten to list is also a great way to end it, example; “And thank you to everyone who has helped me reach my goal”.

The author of the biography would most likely be mentioned in the bibliography, but if it is needed to include the author in the acknowledgment, then "I would like to thank *insert author* for writing this book" would be just enough.
