Folliculitis is a common condition causing inflamed hair follicles and a raised rash. While it can occur anywhere on your body, the buttocks are a common area for an outbreak. If you have folliculitis on your buttocks, you can control the infection by keeping the area clean and applying a warm compress regularly.
