In Super Mario Party Jamboree, there are two unlockable characters, one of which is Ninji, an enemy found in the Super Mario video game series. 1Know that there are no specific progress requirements for unlocking Ninji. Whether you've just purchased the game or you just need to unlock Ninji to complete it, Ninji should be able to be unlocked, regardless of the progress you've made in the game, [2] X Research source once you complete the game's opening cutscene.

2Enter the hot air balloon if you haven't done so already. In order to unlock Ninji, you'll need to be in the hot air balloon. The hot air balloon is in Party Plaza, right next to the "Online Match" machine, on a platform. To enter it, climb the stairs. When the buttons appear on screen, press the right button, as indicated (it will be colored in yellow), to enter the hot air balloon.
- In addition to the buttons appearing on screen, you'll also know you're able to enter the hot air balloon when you see "Balloon" and "Join the party!" in the upper lefthand corner of your screen.
- When you enter the hot air balloon, a cutscene will begin. To skip it, you can press either the plus or minus button (depending on which controller you're using - if you're playing the game in handheld mode, you can press either button).

3Move the hot air balloon around until you reach Rhythm Kitchen. Behind this (and slightly to the right), you should notice two hill-like structures, one bigger, and one smaller, and something on top of the larger one - this is Ninji.

4Zoom in on the islands using your controller's top button. Once you've located the area behind Rhythm Kitchen that has Ninji in it, use your controller's top button to zoom in. [4] X Research source After you've zoomed in far enough, press the A button, and the Yellow Toad you're with should then invite Ninji to join. [5] X Research source Once this has happened, you have successfully unlocked Ninji in Super Mario Party Jamboree.
