What got you into the field; was it a decision you made in college? I have three siblings; we all drive each other crazy but we love each other. They all live out of state now though; two in Oklahoma and one in Texas. How about you; did you grow up in a big family? Seems like events in the news have been all over the place lately. I really think you should give it a shot; what’s been holding you back? Some of these equations have me stumped; I can’t figure out how to solve half of them. How’s the physics homework going for you? I can’t get into any of these new Netflix shows, and nothing on cable catches my attention either. What have you been watching lately? I loved that concert we went to yesterday; great music, and the lyrics had a pretty strong effect on me. What’d you think? How are your kids doing? It was great to see Emily at her little-league softball game last week; the kid’s got quite an arm on her. Exploring niche interests I like going to Las Vegas for the experience, although I’m not one to gamble much. How about you, have you ever spent much money on roulette or poker? The Olympics were a blast to watch; I really think I might take up skiing. I’ve tried it before, but only once. How about you; are you into any winter sports? I love cooking; I recently started making a lot of Italian dishes. I love the food; it’s rich and filling, especially on winter nights. Do you cook much? If you’re interested, I could lend you a couple cookbooks. I don’t know what I would do with my time if I didn’t play the drums. I feel like it keeps me sane, and is a great hobby. How about you, do you play any instruments? I just out my applications to a handful of MBA programs last week. I’d love to get back in school and learn more about business.
