Weekly Meeting Schedule for the Covert Detection Society
(All members must wear hats during formal weekly meeting.)
5:45 pm
Prior to opening the meeting, new puzzles, games, and food will be laid out on a table along with snacks and drinks in preparation for the post-lecture free-for-all.
6:00 pm
Opening greeting. Members put on hats.
6:05 pm
Chief observer reads aloud minutes from the most recent meeting.
6:10 pm
Detective in charge of finance provides an account for current society assets, expenditures, and income.
6:20 pm
A vote will be held on any important changes or decisions.
6:30 pm
Lead detective shares news, gives honorable mention to any detectives who have achieved significant accomplishments in the past week.
6:45 pm
The floor is opened for detectives to share cases and experiences of the past week, to give details about new games or puzzles, and to inform the society about upcoming events.
7:15 pm
The lead detective or a guest speaker will provide a brief lecture on a topic related to society activities. Homework suggestions will be provided for the following week.
7:30 pm
The lead detective will officially close the formal part of the meeting.
7:35 pm
New games will be introduced and explained. Members will enjoy a free-for-all session of puzzle solving and skill practice. Events will be organized for this session, including challenges and mock cases for detectives to solve.
