Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
Ingredients:
* 1 pound elbow macaroni
* 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 cups whole milk
* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth.
Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly, until the mixture is smooth.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Whisk until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until the macaroni is coated.
Serve immediately.
