wikiHow_talk:Article Review Team

Articles on wikiHow are not fully published until they have passed a quality review process called "New Article Boost".

Do you have a more general question about using wikiHow?
Leave a note on the Help Team Page instead.

Here are some of the top reasons articles may not be published:

  • The article is not properly formatted. Review our Writer's Guide and learn How to Format a wikiHow Article .
  • The article promotes a specific product or service. These articles are often considered advertising and a violation of the Deletion Policy .
  • The article does not provide enough information to help the reader complete the task.
    • If you see a message on your article saying it was nominated for deletion as "incomplete", then it contains too little information to be helpful to readers completing the task.
    • If you see a message on your article marking it as a stub , then your article provides a basic outline, but it can be expanded to provide more depth. If you feel like you have added as much detail as you can to the article, yet the article is still not live, it might be worth checking for reliable sources before posting here asking for a rereview.
  • We already have an existing article on the same topic. In accordance with our Merge Policy , we only allow one article per topic.

If you would like more help understanding what you can do to help increase the chances your article will be published, you can leave a note here with a link to the article you are working on.

Please don't post multiple times on this page if your article has not been reviewed. We're all volunteers with real-life commitments, and we'll get to your request as soon as possible.

Hello!

This is an old article that was never promoted, but could someone read through it to see if it's good for promotion?

Thanks,
