Standard outfit is jeans, and a t-shirt that is slightly too large. * Loud and talkative, but actually a bit insecure and sensitive. Uses humour to compensate for feeling uncomfortable; funny in a goofy, over-the-top kind of way that at its best can be sweet and at its worst can be abrasive. Has lots of friends, but not much romantic success. * 23-year-old intern at engineering company, first job out of college. Figuring out how to be an adult and barely surviving off frozen pizza. Despite seeming like a bit of a mess, Alex is actually very responsible and sends most savings home to help his younger siblings pay for college. Kyle * Black, straight hair and black eyes, super pale skin, looks like he hasn’t been outside in a while. Mouth points downwards just slightly; his resting face looks a little sad. Kyle dresses better than Alex, in nicely-fitted button-up shirts. * Very confident, but also quiet in a way that disarms people. Doesn’t believe in small talk and lets silence hang rather than chit-chat; careful with words and really means what he says. * Also working at the engineering firm, first post-college job. Kyle lives at home with his parents and hates it, but can’t afford to move out. Dated a lot in college, just had his heart broken and is getting over a significant breakup.
