The best way to lower triglycerides with exercise is to get your body moving by doing some aerobic, cardiovascular activity. Aim for getting 20-30 minutes of aerobic activity at least 5 days a week. As your body gets stronger your endurance will increase, and you can add in more exercise time and tougher workouts. Here are some ideas to get you moving.
* Take a bike ride
* Go for a brisk walk or hike
* Do some light jogging (with walking intervals)
* Jump rope
* Play basketball or soccer with your friends or your kids
* Do some step aerobics (you can grab a sturdy wood box to use as your step, and look up some free instructional videos online)
* Climb some stairs
* Go swimming
* Use an elliptical machine, exercise bike, or treadmill
* Take an aerobics class at your local gym (Zumba, step, jazzercise, etc.)
