Open your Settings. Drag the notification bar down from the top of the screen, then tap the .

Tap Ringtone . It’s about halfway down the current screen.

Tap Ringtone . It’s under the “Incoming Calls” header. A list of ringtones on your phone will appear.

Scroll down and tap Add from phone . This opens the Sound Picker, which displays a list of audio tracks on your Galaxy.
- If you don’t have any audio tracks on your Galaxy, you can download them for free or create your own. See this wikiHow to learn how to do both.

Locate the new ringtone. You can tap one of the categories at the top of the screen (e.g. Tracks, Albums, Artists), or tap the magnifying glass to search.
- To hear a preview of the ringtone, tap its album cover. If there’s no album cover, tap the gray square with a music note inside.
- To hear the track from the beginning, slide the “Highlights only” switch to the position.

Tap the radio button to the left of the new ringtone. The circle will fill with a different color to indicate that it’s selected.
