Steps

1Meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a degree- or diploma-granting program at a high school, secondary school, college, university, homeschool, or similar educational institutions.
- Have a school-provided email or documents proving current student status.
- Have a GitHub account.
- Be of at least 13 years of age.

Click on the Benefits button in the bar at the top of the screen. On this screen, click on get student benefits.

Navigate down to the application area and fill in all the fields. These fields will include an email, the name of your school, and the reason as to why you want to use the GitHub Pack.

Prove your academic status. Below this box, there are some fields to help expedite your application process. When finished, click Process Application.
- The application could take multiple days to be reviewed.
