This wikiHow teaches you how to archive software on the Nintendo Switch. One of the drawbacks to the Nintendo Switch is it has a limited amount of storage space (32 gbs). If you download a lot of games from the Nintendo eShop, you may find yourself running out of storage space pretty quickly. One solution is to archive games you don't play anymore. Archiving games keeps all your save data, and the game icon on the home screen, but it deletes the game. This frees up space for more games. Archived games can be downloaded again at anytime.
