  1. To become a Verified Fan , you must have a Ticketmaster account. Visit https://www.ticketmaster.com and click Sign In/Register to create your account if you haven't already done so.
  2. Go to https://verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/taylorswift in any web browser to see if Verified Fan registration is open. If you can still register as a Verified Fan, you'll see a list of upcoming shows here. If you see "Registration Closed" at the top of the page, you won't be able to register as a Verified Fan for this tour. [1]
    • Registration is only open for a short period of time before tickets go on sale. If you miss your chance to become a Verified Fan to score early Taylor Swift tickets, make sure to follow @Ticketmaster on X/Twitter to stay on top of announcements for future tours.

  3. Select the Taylor Swift concert you want to attend and follow the on-screen instructions to register your email address and phone number. Once your registration is submitted, you'll get a confirmation email that lets you know your request was submitted.
    • After you submit your request, Ticketmaster will verify your information to make sure you're not a bot or reseller. [2]
    • Unfortunately, becoming one of Taylor's Verified Fans does not guarantee you'll be able to buy presale tickets. The demand is really high, so Ticketmaster can only select a portion of Verified Fans to receive presale access codes. If you're on the waitlist, you may still be able to buy Taylor Swift tickets—if the Verified Fan presale tickets don't sell out, you'll receive an email, you may receive an email with a link to the Verified Fan presale.

Buying Tickets at the Verified Fan Sale

  1. If you're selected to buy tickets at the presale event, you'll receive an email and/or text with a direct link to join the Verified Fan sale. If you weren't selected for the presale, you'll get an email or text telling you you're on the waitlist. You'll be placed into Ticketmaster's Smart Queue, which holds your place in line.
    • Don't close or refresh the page while you're in the Smart Queue, as you will lose your place in line.
  2. When it's your turn in the queue, add up to 4 tickets to your cart for the Taylor Swift show you selected.
    • Tickets are first come, first serve. If tickets sell out before your place in line, you won't be able to get presale tickets, even if you registered as a Verified Fan.
  3. Enter the Verified Fan access code you received via text and/or email at checkout to confirm your purchase.
    • If the Taylor Swift Verified Fan presale tickets don't sell out, those on the waitlist may receive texts or emails containing a link and access code.

Troubleshooting

  1. If you get a Verified Fan link via text or email but aren't shown your place in the queue, the presale event may not have started yet. Ticketmaster sends the links out before the presale time, so depending on how soon you click or tap the link, it may be too early to access the site. [3]
  2. Taylor Swift tickets sell out fast , so not all fans can get tickets. The point of Verified Fan sales is to give fans a better chance of getting tickets in a world dominated by bots and resellers. But even though Verified Fan presales try to level the playing ground, there are still more Swifties than there are tickets to go around.
  3. Even if you registered as a Verified Fan, you may end up on the waitlist. This doesn’t mean you did anything wrong—it's just that there are a lot of Taylor fans and not enough tickets. The good news is that if tickets don't sell out during the Verified Fan presale, you may receive a text from Ticketmaster with your Verified Fan access code and direct purchase link.
  4. If you're able to select tickets but aren't able to use your access code, make sure you're signed in with the same account you used to register as a Verified Fan, and that you're entering the access code exactly as it appears in the text or email. [4]
    • You'll receive your access code before the presale event begins. If you click or tap the link and don't see your place in line or the option to select tickets, the event likely has not started.
  5. Tickets are first-come, first-serve, even for Verified Fans. If the people in front of you in the virtual queue buy up all the tickets, you won't be able to get yours—even if you become a Verified Fan. [5]
  6. To make sure you don't miss the next opportunity to become one of Taylor Swift's Verified Fans, follow @Ticketmaster on X/Twitter and @taylornation on Instagram, and join Taylor's mailing list .
