The Shugabush is the first legendary monster introduced in My Singing Monsters. It is a green, human-like monster that wears a fedora, plays a mandolin, and occasionally sings in a style similar to that of real-life singer Kristian Bush from the band Sugarland. The Shugabush is available starting at level nine in My Singing Monsters. This wikiHow teaches you how to obtain a Shugabush through breeding.
Things You Should Know
- Once you've reached level 9, navigate to the Plant Island. Tap on the Breeding Structure.
- Tap Breed . Select Bowgart from one of the columns and Clamble from the other column. Tap Breed and keep retrying until successful.
- Go to the nursery after the 35 hour breeding period to find your Shugabush egg.
Steps
-
Reach level 9. The Shugabush only becomes available when you’ve reached level nine. Your current level status is displayed at the top left corner of your screen.
- If you’re not at level nine, tap on “Goals” and complete the list of required goals. The game will automatically bump you to level nine after you’ve completed the necessary goals, such as buying breeding structures or monsters.

Tap on the Breeding Structure. The Breeding Structure is available when you reach level 7. It can be purchased in Structures for 200 gold. [2] X Research source
-
Tap Breed . It's in the lower-right corner of the screen. This icon appears when you tap the Breeding Structure.
-
Select the Bowgart from one of the columns. There are two columns that you use to select monsters to breed. You can select a Bowgart monster from either column. It doesn't matter what level the monster you select is, but you may have better luck with higher level monsters. [3] X Research source
- You can obtain a Bowgart by breeding two monsters that make up the Plant, Water, and Cold elements. Examples of monster pairings that can successfully breed the Bowgart are Potbelly + Maw, Mammott + Oaktopus, and Toe Jammer + Furcorn. Alternately, you can purchase the Bowgart from the Market for 50 diamonds.
-
Select a Clamble from the other column. Select a Clamble from the opposite column you select the Bowgart from. A Bowgart and Clamble is the only monster pairing that will successfully breed and produce the Shugabush. It doesn't matter what level the monster you select is, but you may have better luck with higher level monsters. [4] X Research source
- You can obtain the Clamble by breeding two monsters that make up the Plant, Earth, and Cold elements. Examples of monster pairings that can successfully breed the Clamble are Potbelly + Drumpler, Noggin + Furcorn, and Mammott + Shrubb. Alternately, you can purchase the Clamble from the Market for 50 diamonds.
-
Tap Breed . It's at the bottom of the screen after selecting your monsters. The breeding structure will begin flashing to indicate that the Bowgart and Clamble are now breeding. The breeding period for the Shugabush lasts 35 hours. After the breeding period has ended, the Shugabush egg will be relocated to the Nursery and ready to hatch. [5] X Research source
- Note: The Shugabush is a legendary monster which makes it hard to obtain. You will likely have to retry several times before you get a Shugabush through breeding. To increase your chances, you can purchase Wishing Torches from Structures and have your friends visit your island and light them. You can also light them yourself for 2 diamonds.
- Alternatively, you can purchase a Shugabush for 200 diamonds from the Market if you don't feel like breeding and waiting for a Shugabush.
-
Wait for the breeding period to end. The breeding time for a Shugabush is 35 hours. The Shugabush egg will be waiting for you at the Nursery when the time is over.
- To skip breeding and obtain the Shugabush immediately, select the option to pay 35 diamonds. You will then have the option to sell the Shugabush, or place it on an island.
-
Tap on the Nursery. You’ll receive a notification informing you that the Shugabush egg has hatched. You can now sell the Shugabush, or select the option to place the Shugabush at the Plant Island, Gold Island, or Shugabush Island. [6] X Research source
