  1. Go to https://app.acorns.com/close-account in your web browser. If you're using a computer or an Android, you can cancel your account by logging in to Acorns in a web browser.
  2. If you're not automatically signed in, enter your email and password, and click the Log In button.

  4. It's at the top of the menu.
  5. It's under the "Personal" or "Personal Settings" header.
  6. If you have a standard (Core) account with no upgrades, click this link at the bottom-right corner of the page. A confirmation message will appear.
    • If you upgraded to a Later or Spend account, click the Contact Support link instead, and then choose Close My Account from the "What can we help you with?" menu. Use the form to request that your account be canceled. You should hear back from an Acorns representative via email within 1-2 business days.
  7. Depending on your account's current balance and status, you may be required to confirm your bank account or billing information to finalize the cancellation.
    • Any funds that were in your account will be returned to your primary funding source within 3-6 business days.

  1. It's the green icon with a white acorn inside. You'll usually find it on the home screen or by searching.
  2. It's at the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. Information about your account will appear.
  4. If you have a standard (Core) account, you'll be prompted to enter a reason for canceling.
    • If you've upgraded to a Later or Spend account, you'll now be shown contact information for Acorns' support team. Follow the on-screen instructions to contact Acorns support for further instructions.
  5. A confirmation message will appear.
  6. Depending on your account's current balance and status, you may be required to confirm your bank account or billing information to finalize the cancellation. Any funds that were in your account will be returned to your primary funding source within 3-6 business days.
