Head to one of these locations. Once you do, walk around in the area until you encounter a Gossifleur, or wait through a few Max Raid battles and eventually, you should encounter a Gossifleur.
- Gossifleur's silhouette is small, with a flower shape on its head and leaf shapes coming out of its back. ^{[18]

Weaken the Gossifleur's health to around half or less. This can help make catching it easier. Once its health is low enough, try throwing a Pokéball to catch it. You may need to try a few times, but eventually, you should catch Gossifleur.
- Be careful if you decide to use moves that have a chance of poisoning or burning a Pokémon. If successful, these moves can cause a Pokémon to slowly lose health, and eventually faint. If this happens, you'll need to find another Gossifleur.
  - To lessen the likelihood of this happening, you may instead want to opt for a move like False Swipe, which is guaranteed to leave the Pokémon it is used on with at least 1 HP. ^{[19]

Gossifleur's evolution, Eldegoss, is also available in the wild if you're just looking for that Pokémon or would prefer not to evolve Gossifleur. One can be found as a Wanderer on Route 5, and they can also be caught in the Wild Area at the Stony Wilderness, Dusty Bowl, Motostoke Riverbank and Giant's Cap. Eldegoss is also available in Max Raid battles at the Bridge Field, Dappled Grove, Giant's Mirror and Stony Wilderness in the Wild Area.
