Since your YouTube account is linked to your Google account, you'll need to head to your Google account settings to update your age. Updating Your Birthday on YouTube
To update your birthday for YouTube, tap your profile picture in the mobile app. Tap Google Account and navigate to the Personal Info tab. Tap Birthday to add a new birthday, and then save it.

Tap Google Account . This will be underneath your YouTube handle.

Tap Personal info . This is the tab between Home and Data & privacy .

Tap Birthday . You can find this under the Basic info header.

Enter a new birthday. Tap the Month, Day, and/or Year fields to input a new birthday.

Tap Save . This is the blue button. Your new birthday will be saved.
- You may not see this option if you have a restricted account or an account made by someone else . In this case, ask your parent, guardian, or admin to change this information for you if it's incorrect.

Click your profile picture. This is in the top-right corner.

Click Google Account . This is at the top of the drop-down menu, underneath your YouTube handle.
- You'll be redirected to your Google settings.

Click Personal info . You can find this in the left panel.

Click Birthday . This is underneath the Basic info header.
