When you head to the messages app to send a text, a list of preset messages will appear. One of Apple Watch's cool features is that you can delete these messages or create your own. This wikiHow will show you how to change the preset messages in the Messages app on Apple Watch.
Steps

1Unlock your Apple Watch's screen and open your apps. Press the digital crown to see a list of apps. Navigate to and open the Settings app.
- If your watch is in list view, the app will be near the end in the 'S' section.

2Scroll down until you find the Messages setting. Click Messages .
- It should be below Maps and above Mindfulness .

3Go to the bottom of the page. You should find Default Replies . Click on this option.
- Once you click on Default Replies, you can decide if you want Smart Replies on. Smart Replies gives you responses to a few different messages. For example, if someone texts "Hello!" and you have Smart Replies on, it should give you the opportunity to text "👋 👋" back. By clicking the green box, you can toggle this function on and off.

4Choose whether you'd like to delete one of the preset messages or add your own. Although you can have several preset messages, it is recommended to have no more than 10 to prevent you from accidentally sending one to the wrong person.
- To delete a preset message:
- Find the one you'd like to delete.
- Place your finger on it and swipe left.
- Click on the white trashcan with a red background.
- To create your own preset message:
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Select Add reply
.
- If you select the microphone icon, you can record a message.
- If you select the draw icon, draw a message.
- If you have Apple Watch Version 7, it will be a text icon. Type in your text.
- If you select the emoji icon, select one emoji you would like to send.
Note: You will not be recording your own voice. You are just dictating for the watch.
- To delete a preset message:
