Do you need to change your browser's language back to English? If you accidentally changed the language, or you want to view your browser in a different one, you can easily swap the language in your settings. On Mac, you'll need to adjust your system settings rather than browser settings. Here's how to change your browser's language using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

- Click â‹® next to the language you want.
- Click Display Google Chrome in this language .

Click â‹® . It's in the top-right corner of the Google Chrome window. A drop-down menu will open.

Click Languages . You can find this in the left panel, underneath On startup .

Click â‹® next to the language you want. This should be underneath the Preferred languages header.
- If you don't see your preferred language, click Add language , click a language, and then click Add .

Check the box for "Display Google Chrome in this language". You'll need to close Chrome and open it again to apply the changes.

Click Settings . You can find this towards the bottom of the menu.
- If you aren't already on the General tab, select it from the left panel to navigate there now.

Scroll down and select the "Language" drop-down menu. You can find this underneath the Language and Appearance header.

Select your preferred language. If you don't see your preferred language, click Search for more languages… . Click Select more languages to add , select a language, and then click Add .
- Close Mozilla Firefox and open it again to apply the changes.

Click Languages . This is in the left panel, under Family safety .

Click ••• next to the language you want. This should be in the Preferred languages box.

Check the option for "Display Microsoft Edge in this language". You'll need to close Microsoft Edge and open it again to apply the changes.

Click Language & Region . You can find this in the right panel. You may need to scroll down.
