Do you want to use a different email to log into Facebook? You can change your email address without creating a whole new account. You'll just need to add a new email before you can delete the old one. Here's how to change your email address on Facebook using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

Open the Facebook app. It's a blue app with a white f .
- If you're not automatically logged in , enter your email address and password to do so now.

Tap Settings . A new page will open.

Tap Accounts Center . You can find this at the very top.

Tap Personal details . This is underneath the Account settings header.

Tap Contact info . You'll see your current email address here.

Enter another email address and tap Next . Be sure to spell it correctly.
- If prompted, check the box next to your Facebook account underneath Choose accounts for this email .

Enter the confirmation code. Check your previous email address for the code.

Delete the old email address (optional). If you want to set the new email as primary, you can delete the old email. Return to the Contact information page. You may need to tap the back arrow to do so.
- Tap the email you want to delete.
- Tap Delete email .
- Tap Delete .
- Enter your Facebook password if prompted.

Go to https://www.facebook.com/ . If you aren't already logged into your account , enter your email address and password to do so now.

Click your profile picture. A drop-down menu will open.

Click Settings & privacy . This is below your name.

Click Settings . A new page will open.

Click Account Center . You can find this in the left panel, underneath the search bar.

Click Personal details . This is underneath the Account settings header.

Click Contact info . You'll see your current email here.

Click Add new contact . Before you can change your primary email address for Facebook, you'll need to add a new one.

Click Add email . You can also choose to add a mobile phone number.

Enter another email address and click Next . Be sure to spell it correctly.
- If prompted, check the box next to your Facebook account underneath Choose accounts for this email .

Enter the confirmation code. Check your previous email address for the code.

Delete the old email address (optional). If you want to set the new email as primary, you can delete the old email. Return to the Contact information page. You may need to close the pop-up menu to do so.
- Click the email you want to delete.
- Click Delete email .
- Click Delete .
- Enter your Facebook password if prompted.
