    In order to check a Pokémon's IVs, you must complete the three story arcs of Scarlet/Violet (Victory Road, Path of Legends, and Starfall Street) as well as the final main story quest (The Way Home).

    If you get a Bottle Cap or Golden Bottle Cap, you can exchange this with an NPC in Montenevera near the Pokémon Center to Hyper Train one of your Pokémon. Hyper Training will raise one or more of your Pokémon's stats to a perfect IV.
    • Your Pokémon must be level 50 in order to be Hyper Trained.
    • Hyper Trained Pokémon will not pass their trained stats down when bred. [2]
