This wikiHow teaches you how to create your own Telegram channel when you’re using an Android.
Steps

Open Telegram. It’s the blue icon with a white paper airplane inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Tap New Channel .

Tap Create Channel .

Type a name for the channel into the “Channel name” box.

Type a channel description. This can be a few words about the channel’s purpose. This step is optional.

Tap the check mark. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

Select a privacy level. If you want people to be able to find your channel when doing a search, select Public Channel . To make your channel available only to those invited, select Private Channel .
- If you select Private Channel , a URL will appear under “Invite Link.” Tap it once to copy it to the clipboard, then paste it anywhere you wish.

Tap the check mark. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

Select contacts to add to the channel. Tapping a contact’s name or number will add them to the invitation list.

Tap the check mark. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. Your channel is now active and the selected members have been added. To access it, tap its name on the Telegram home screen.

Share your channel with others. There are two ways to do this:
- To share within the Telegram app, just type @yourchannelname into a chat or message. Users can then tap the channel’s name to view its description and join (if permitted). [2] X Research source
