ROCKWOOL, formerly called ROXUL, is a product that’s used for insulation and soundproofing in homes and buildings. If you’re working with ROCKWOOL products for the first time, then it’s totally normal to have some questions. There is actually another product called rockwool that's used for growing plants without soil. These come in slabs or cubes that you put plant cuttings in. This is different from ROCKWOOL, and you don't have to cut it before using it. ^{[12]
