Things You Should Know

  • Go to your assets library and click the search bar.
  • Click "Local Components" and double-click the icon component you want to delete.
  • Click the Figma logo, then go to Edit > Delete to delete the component and all associated instances of it.
  1. You'll see it at the top of the left panel next to "Layers" in Figma.
    • If the icon not a component, you can delete it by selecting its layer from the Layers panel, then pressing Backspace or Delete .
  2. You'll see this menu option below the search bar at the top of the Assets panel. A list of your components will expand.
