Have you ever gone to a website where you try to right-click only to find it doesn't work? There is good news! If you use Mozilla Firefox, you can tell your browser not to obey the website and display it anyway. This wikiHow article teaches you how to disable "No right-click" scripts in Firefox.

How to Disable "No Right-Click" Scripts in Firefox

  • Hold Shift and right-click to temporarily disable a right-click scripts in Firefox. This will display the normal right-click menu.
  • Enter "about:config" in the address bar and locate the "dom.event.contextmenu.enabled" setting. Set it to "False" to permanently disable right-click scripts.
  • On Firefox 2 and below, go to Tools > Options > Content . Click Advanced next to "Enable JavaScript." Uncheck "Disable or replace context menus."

    This option is no longer available in the Options menu. Instead, you will need to open the Firefox Configuration page. To do so, type about:config in the address bar and press Enter .

    To do so, type context into the search bar at the top of the page. Find the preference name listed as "dom.event.contextmenu.enabled" and double-click to toggle it to "false". This disables right-click scripts.
