Do you want to stop sharing between your iPhone and Mac? The easiest way is to remove your iPhone from your Apple ID. Alternatively, you can disable shared features like Bluetooth, Messages, and FaceTime. Here's how to disconnect your iPhone from your Mac.
Unsyncing Your iPhone from Mac
To unlink your iPhone from your Mac, you can remove your iPhone from your Apple ID's devices. Go to your Mac's System Settings , click your name, and then select your iPhone. Click Remove this Device .
Steps

Click the Apple menu. This is in the top-left corner.
- If your iPhone keeps connecting automatically to your Mac, you can disconnect it from your Apple ID. Use this method if you plan to create a new Apple ID to use with your iPhone.
- Keep in mind that once you remove your iPhone from your Apple ID, it will no longer be able to approve new devices or use Apple services.
- If you only want to stop syncing photos, navigate to your iCloud settings > Photos > turn off iCloud Photo Library .

Click your name. This will be in the left panel.
- On older devices, click Apple ID and then Overview .

Click your iPhone. You'll see this listed under Devices .

Click Confirm . The iPhone will be removed from the Apple ID associated with your Mac.

Tap the "i" in a circle next to your Mac. A new page will open.

Tap Forget This Device . Your Mac will be unpaired from your iPhone.
