Roblox Character Drawing Example
First, draw a 3D rectangle for the body. Then, draw a circular square for the head. Draw 2 3D trapezoid shapes for the legs. Draw the left arm as a 3D trapezoid and erase the insides, then draw the right arm as a 3D rectangle on the other side of the torso. Use a marker to finalize your drawing and color it in.

Section 1 of 3:
How to Draw a Roblox Character
-
1Draw a 3D rectangle in the middle of your drawing paper. It might help to have guidelines on your paper, so you can fold your paper to create creases, or you can draw faint lines (in pencil) to create a grid of four squares.
- In order to help you judge how large this rectangle should be, you could use your pencil to create guidelines at the top and bottom, so you don't make it too large.
- To make a 3D rectangle , make a regular rectangle, then create a side to help with perspective. From the top left corner, draw an angled line down, a straight line down, and another angled line down.
-
2Draw a rounded square above the rectangle. Roblox characters have very rounded square heads, like a squircle.
- Marking the tops and sides of where the head will be will help you draw a circular square that's not too big or too small.
- The head can be touching the body or floating.

3Draw the face on the head. You can skip ahead and return to this step later, if you prefer.
- The default smiley face is just two circles (colored in) and a smile.
-
4Draw the legs. They are trapezoid-shaped, so they are wider at the bottom than at the top.
- For the right leg, draw a short line across; a longer line down; a wider line at the bottom, then connect the bottom to the top.
- Do the same thing for the left leg, and angle it in the other direction.
- To create 3D versions, draw lines that force perspective similarly to the body's 3D rectangle.
-
5Draw a trapezoid for the left arm. This trapezoid, like the legs, is wider at the bottom than at the top.
- Once you've drawn the shape, erase what's inside it and add another side to create the illusion of a 3D image.
- This includes overlapping corners from the torso. Erasing this forces the perspective of the arm in front of the chest.
-
6Draw a 3D rectangle for the right arm. To keep the same perspective as the torso, you don't want to create another trapezoid for the arm that's pointing to the back. Start drawing from the top right corner of the torso rectangle.
-
7Outline the character in marker and draw in specifics. Since you started the character in pencil, you can use something bolder, like a marker, to make your character stand out.
- Take the time to add specific details you like, like if your character has a necklace or bracelet.
