    • Arabic : رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
    • Transliteration : Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wadhurriyatina qurrata a’yunin wa-jalna lil-muttaqina imama.
    • Translation : Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.

    • Transliteration : Allahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal ‘amala allathee yuballighunee hubbaka.
    • Translation : O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your love.

    Du’a for overcoming challenges in marriage This du’a from the Qur’an (Surah Ar-Rum 30:21) can be used as reassurance; it stresses that partnership and marriage are natural things intended to be a part of life.     Du’a for prosperity and children Recite this passage from the Qur’an (Surah Nuh, 71:10-12) as a du’a to offer supplication and ask Allah for a prosperous and financially sound future with your spouse, as well as children. Though the passage specifies “sons,” you can adjust this if you want! [6]
    • Arabic :فَقُلۡتُ اسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡا رَبَّكُمۡؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ غَفَّارًا ۙ‏ يُّرۡسِلِ السَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ مِّدۡرَارًا ۙ وَّيُمۡدِدۡكُمۡ بِاَمۡوَالٍ وَّبَنِيۡنَ وَيَجۡعَلۡ لَّـكُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّيَجۡعَلۡ لَّـكُمۡ اَنۡهٰرًا ؕ
    • Transliteration : Faqultu istaghfiru Rabbakum innahu kana ghaffara. Yursil as-sama' 'alaykum midrara, wa yumdidkum bi amawalin wa baneen.
    • Translation : Then I said, Ask forgiveness of your Lord, surely He is the most Forgiving. He will send down upon you the cloud, pouring down abundance of rain, and help you with wealth and sons, and make for you gardens, and make for you rivers.
  8. In the Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201, this du’a is used to ask for Allah’s blessing and gift of all that which is good in the world. Thus, you can use it to ask for a prosperous marriage—and prosperity across all facets of your life at the same time. [7]
    • Arabic : رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
    • Transliteration : Wa minhum mai yaqoolu rabbanaaa aatina fid dunyaa hasanatanw wa fil aakhirati hasanatanw wa qinaa azaaban Naar.
    • Translation : Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

    • Transliteration : Baarakallaahu laka, wa baaraka ‘alayka, wa jama’a baynakumaa fee khayrin.
    • Translation : May Allah bless you, shower His blessings upon you, and join you together in goodness.

    Du’a for getting married soon Use this du’a if you want to get married as soon as possible, and especially if you want to start a family and have children. The du’a comes from the Qur’an, Al-Anbya 21:89, wherein Prophet Zachariah begs Allah not to leave him without an heir, after which Allah answers the supplication. [9]
    • Arabic : رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
    • Transliteration : Rabbi! Wala tadhiruni eaqiman wa'ant khayr alwarithina.
    • Translation : And remember when Zachariah cried out to his Lord, “My Lord! Do not leave me childless, though You are the Best of Successors.”

    • Transliteration : Yaaa aiyuhan naasut taqoo Rabbakumul lazee khalaqakum min nafsinw waahidatinw wa khalaqa minhaa zawjahaa wa bas sa minhumaa rijaalan kaseeranw wa nisaaa’aa.
    • Translation : Reverence your Guardian Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them, twain scattered countless men and women.
