A step-by-step guide to evolving your Bramblin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Download Article
If you've been playing Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you may have come across a tumbleweed-esque Pokemon called a Brambleghast. Brambleghast evolves from Bramblin, a Pokemon easily found in the deserts of Paldea. But how exactly do you get a Brambleghast? Evolving Bramblin takes a few extra steps, but it's simple and doesn't require any special items. In this article we'll teach you how to evolve Bramblin into Brambleghast with ease.
Things You Should Know
- Catch a Bramblin if you don't have one already by going to East Province Area Three or the Asado Desert in West Province.
- Go to an area with no wild Pokemon and nothing that Bramblin could get stuck on, such as a clear area in a city.
- Send Bramblin out in Let's Go mode and walk with your Pokemon for 1,000 steps to trigger its evolution.
Steps
-
Put Bramblin in the front of your party. This will ensure Bramblin is sent out when you enter Let's Go mode.Advertisement
-
Fly to somewhere where you can walk without interruption. Avoid wilderness where there are wild Pokemon or urban areas with lots of objects Bramblin might get stuck on.
- The high street in Alfornada or the top of the Poco Path Lighthouse are good options because there is a lot of space with no interruptions.
-
Press the R button to enter Let's Go mode. Bramblin will be sent out and will walk with you.
-
Start running. Don't run too fast, or Bramblin won't be able to keep up and will get sent back to its Pokeball.
- If you went to Alfornada, you should reach 1,000 steps after going up and down the high street 5 times. If you went to the Poco Path Lighthouse, you should reach 1,000 steps after running around the top 7 times.
-
Level up Bramblin. You can level it up with a battle, XP candies, or a Rare Candy. If you successfully walked 1,000 steps with your Bramblin it will evolve into Brambleghast. If it doesn't evolve, walk with your Bramblin more and level it up again to trigger the evolution.
