Get a couple of simple books. They teach you the basic folds, valley folds, mountain folds, working on your hand coordination skills, and being precise. Take your time and try to be as accurate as possible with the instructions. It does require a certain precision, an artistic touch, and a lot of practice.

How do I make the frog jump?
    Community Answer
There should be a pentagon on your frog, it should look somewhat like a house. Press down on the bottom of that "house" and then release.

      • If your frog does not jump, check if you made enough folds in its butt. If you view it from the side (nose up), it should look like a W. Once done, put the feet down and nose up on the table. Press down on the butt (it should compress like a spring) and let your finger slide off to the back. Boing!
      • If your paper is colored or has a design on one side, start with the color side down if you want the frog to be colorful.
      • This craft doesn't work with sticky notes. Make sure to use plain paper.
