Can you do witchcraft and be religious?
I am a Christian and I also really like witchy things. Could i do rituals and make rose water as well as be a Christian? I wouldn't be an "evil" witch. And if I can't be both, why should I give up my religion for witch, or vice versa? I don't know, and I need your advice.

The answer to this question totally depends on who you ask. Some people would say that Christians should not practice witchraft, and the Bible says to not engage in other kinds of worship. However, the Bible also says you can’t wear clothing of different fabrics (Deuteronomy 22:11), eat shellfish (Leviticus 11:9-12), or be a woman who doesn’t wear a hat or scarf in public (1 Corinthians 11:6), and most Christians don't follow those rules. Plus, the Biblical passages about avoiding witchcraft were written at a time when people thought sorcery and spellcasting were a real phenomena, while most modern Wiccans, Pagans, and Hermetic Magick followers treat most of the rituals and spells as symbolic.
There are over 45,000 Christian denominations active right now, and all of them disagree over what does and doesn’t count as “real” Christianity. The Bible makes it clear that God’s love is powerful enough to overcome a lot—and that probably includes something as minor as making rose water or doing personal rituals that aren’t harming anyone. It's okay for you to do what feels right to you, without giving up either your religion or your witchcraft practices.

You know what? My life is pretty similar. I've been a witch for 2 years, and I have to hide it from my Christian family because they don't accept it. If you don't want to be a Christian and just be a witch (Wiccan), that's a very good path to take. I've learned many truths through that religion, but this is obviously up to you and what you think is right. The Christian bible is VERY against witchcraft. I don't mean this to pressure you, but you can't really be both. It's up to you. What do you believe is true?
