Do you need to get to Netharion's Lair from Valdrakken in World of Warcraft? Now that older dungeons are cycled through the game's Mythic+ rotation, you might need to get to the instance without a summon. This wikiHow article teaches you how to get to Netharion's Lair from Valdrakken quickly and easily.

Things You Should Know

  • To get to Netharion's Lair from Valdrakken, go to Dalaran, then fly to Thunder Totem and search for the blue icon on the map.
  • You can hearth to Dalaran instantly if you have a Dalaran Hearthstone, or you can take a portal to Azsura, which is also in Broken Isles.
  • Netharion's Lair is in Highmountain and a blue icon on the map marks the entrance.
  1. It's in the Broken Isles, introduced with the Legion expansion.
    • If you played WoW during Legion, you have a hearthstone that will take you directly to Dalaran. Use that if you can!
    • If you don't have the hearthstone, don't worry! Capital cities, like Orgimmar or Stormwind, have portals that will take you to Azsuna, which is in the same area as Dalaran.
  2. Whether you're in Azsuna or Dalaran, you can fly to Highmountain. Choose "Thunder Totem" as your destination if you're using a flight path.
    • If you're flying by yourself, press '"M"' to open the map and fly towards the blue circular icon, which indicates the entrance to Netharion's Lair.
