Browse porn sites only using incognito or private mode. Almost all browsers have an "incognito" or "private mode" option that allows you to browse websites without saving them to your history. Use ad blockers and pop-up blockers. Unsolicited ads and pop-ups can be a real problem when viewing adult material on the internet. Both Google Chrome and Safari have their own built-in ad blockers. You can also find third-party ad blockers in the add-on or extension store for your web browser. Popular ad-blockers include uBlock, AdGuard, and Ghostery.

- Type the name of a new file extension.
- Click Yes on Windows or Use [file extension] on Mac.

Turn off the thumbnails. Thumbnails are the tiny preview images that appear in place of images and videos in your file browser. These can make obscene material easy to spot. Use the following steps to turn off thumbnails:

- Type control panel into the Windows search bar.
- Click Control Panel .
