However, you can still use Siri or Google Assistant to identify a song that's playing in a Snapchat video.

Identifying Music with Snapchat

Snapchat used to have Shazam integrated into the app, but as of mid-2024, this feature has been removed. To identify a song in a Snapchat video, you can ask "What song is playing?" to Siri or Google Assistant.

  1. Snapchat has a yellow and white ghost icon. Once you launch the app, it will open to the camera screen.

    • iPhone: Say "Siri" or "Hey Siri" if you set up voice activation with Siri. Otherwise, you can activate Siri by pressing and holding the side button (for iPhones with Face ID) or the Home button (for iPhones with a Home button). [1]
