1Complete Archon and Story quests. Archon and Story quests go with the game’s storyline, and completing Archon and Story quest chains can give you quite a bit of Adventure EXP among other things, such as level-up materials (used for leveling up your characters) and Primogems (used to refill original resin and purchase Wishes).

2Complete Commission quests. Commissions are daily quests that reset every day at 4am, hence the nickname “dailies”. Typically, you can get around 200 EXP for completing one commission and about 400 EXP if you complete all of them. Commissions range from doing favors for NPCs to fighting common and elite enemies.

3Fight normal and weekly bosses and complete Ley Line challenges. Fighting bosses and completing ley line challenges are great ways to earn EXP and often drop lots of other rewards, such as ascension materials, Primogems, artifacts, level-up materials, and more.
- Normal bosses include the Anemo, Electro, Geo, Cryo, and Pyro hypostases, the Pyro and Cryo regisvines, the Primo Geovishap, the Maguu Kenki, the Perpetual Mechanical Array, and the Oceanid. Weekly bosses include Stormterror (Dvalin), Andrius, Azhdaha, and Tartaglia.
- Typically, Ley Line challenges are a piece of cake (at least, when compared to defeating bosses). They usually consist of a few common enemies and one elite enemy.
- When fighting bosses, make sure to either have a healer in your party (Such as Barbara or Noelle) or plenty of food on hand.
- You will need Original Resin to obtain rewards from boss fights, as they are typically mid- or late-game ways to earn EXP.

4Explore the map. For every teleportation waypoint you activate, you earn around 50 EXP. This is also a great way to get consumable items (like food and ores), especially those that are exclusive to a certain part of Teyvat (for example, Valberries are exclusively found on or near Starsnatch Cliff).
- You cannot access locations other than Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma as of late. The other nations (Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Shezhnaya) are not in the game yet.

5Offer Oculi to Statues of the Seven. Around Teyvat, you will find Anemoculi (in Mondstadt), Geoculi (in Liyue), and Electroculi (in Inazuma). Offer these to a Statue of the Seven. After offering a certain amount of Oculi, you will get rewards, such as EXP and more stamina.
- You can only offer Anemoculi to statues in Mondstadt, as that is the nation ruled by Anemo. Likewise, you can only offer Geoculi and Electroculi to statues in Liyue and Inazuma respectively, as Liyue is ruled by Geo and Inazuma is ruled by Electro.
- As of late, Dendroculi, Cryoculi, Pyroculi, and Hydroculi don’t exist, as their respective nations aren’t accessible in-game.

6Open chests. Chests are found all over the map and drop all sorts of resources, such as Primogems, weapons, and a little bit of Adventure EXP depending on the rarity of the chest.
