  1. Once you earn 300 points, you get $3 worth of book credits. This award system is available to all Amazon customers in the United States. To get started, purchase a Kindle book or eligible printed book (before every purchase, you'll see the book's point value). You do not have to be a Kindle Unlimited member to earn Kindle Rewards. [1]
    • Kindle books earn roughly 40-50 points in total (3 points per $1.00).
    • Print books earn roughly 20-30 points in total (1 point per $1.00).
      • This means that in order start earning book credits, you'll need to purchase about 6 to 7 Kindle books or 10 to 15 print books.
  2. As of June 2023, Kindle points will not be usable 3 months after you earned them. This means that if you don't get to 300 points (amounting in $3 off) within a 3 month window, you won't be able to redeem the points for book credit.
    • Earn 300 points in 3 months to earn $3.00
    • Earn 600 points in 3 months to earn $6.00
    • Earn 900 points in 3 months to earn $9.00
