How to Make a Signature in the Scratch Forums

A signature is your own personal spot that is placed under all of your posts. They can be used to advertise, make jokes, and other things you can't normally do. This wikiHow will show you how to make a signature and add things to it.

Starting a Signature

    Go to the Scratch Forums home page.

    Scroll down to the bottom and click "Change your Signature".

    Add anything you want in the signature, like a banner or text. The next part will show you how to make them.

Adding a Banner

    Use a banner making site, preferably Canva , and log in or sign up.

    Click "Create a Design" in the top right corner, then click "Custom Size". Set the width to 2760 and the height to 600 to make sure you use the maximum space.
    • You can also set it to any multiple of 2760 and 600.

    Add a background, text, and anything you'd like on your banner.
    • After you've finished, click "Download" on the top right and set the file type to PNG. Now, click the download button in the dropdown.

    Upload your image to a supported image hoster .
  5. 5
    Copy the direct image link.
  6. 6
    Go back to the signature editor and paste the link inside img tags. Then, scroll down and click "Submit.
    • If you're a New Scratcher, the image won't work.
