Steps

Obtain a square piece of paper. If you don't have a square paper, then you can use regular printer paper and cut it into a square. To do this, fold a corner down diagonally and cut the rectangle portion off.

Make a diagonal fold. Take one corner and fold it diagonally.Advertisement

Make another diagonal fold. Grab the other corner and fold it diagonally. This should result in an X-shape on the paper.

Fold the bottom of the corner to the middle off the paper. Pick a corner and fold it on the dashed line to the center of the paper.

Take the same corner piece and fold it halfway. Grab the same corner piece and fold it only halfway to the crease that you created earlier. Once you are done, flip the paper over.

Fold the top part of the paper down toward the bottom side. Grab the top part and fold it at an angle on the dashed line.

Fold the bottom part of the paper up toward the top. This step is the same as you did in the last step. You are just folding the bottom part on the dashed line at an angle.

Take the left side of the paper and fold it to the right. Fold the left part of the triangle to the right on the dashed line.

Take the tip of the triangle piece and fold left past halfway. Once you have folded the triangle from your last step, grab the same piece of the triangle and fold it the other way a little bit passed halfway.

Fold the two top and bottom corner pieces on the dashed line. Grab the two corner pieces and fold inward about an inch.

Fold the paper in half. Fold the whole paper in half on the dashed line.
