How to Make a Simple DIY iPad Stand at Home

While iPads are useful devices, they can be difficult to manage when you’re trying to multitask. Instead of purchasing a new stand to keep your tablet upright, try making one of your own at home! Depending on the situation, a variety of household items can be repurposed into a stand for your iPad. If you’d prefer to make something from scratch, craft a sturdy case for your device out of cardboard instead!

Make an iPad Stand

You can make an iPad stand out of two sheets of cardboard the size of your iPad. Fold one in half, tape it to the bottom of the other, and attach a folded strip for a lip.
Try crafting an iPad stand using other household products like LEGOs, a coat hanger, egg cartons, a cutting board, duct tape rolls, and more.

Lay down a flat piece of cardboard to use for your stand. Flatten out some cardboard and lay it on a smooth surface.
